Electoral Reform 2026: Integrity and Transparency in Candidacies
On June 2, 2026, the Decree amending and adding various provisions to the General Law of Electoral Institutions and Procedures (LGIPE) regarding Integrity in Candidacies was published in the Official Gazette of the Federation.
We conduct searches, monitoring, and opposition proceedings, and prepare technical responses to objections in order to increase the likelihood of successful registration.
In the context of the 2024 judicial branch reform, on June 2, 2026, the DECREE reforming and adding various provisions to the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States, regarding the reform of the Judicial Branch, was published in the afternoon edition of the DOF.
